I was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident while stationary at a red light. My vehicle was struck from behind with significant force, propelling it into the pedestrian crosswalk. Fortunately, no pedestrians were in the crosswalk at the time, and my use of a seatbelt likely mitigated more severe injuries. However, I am experiencing considerable neck soreness today, the day following the incident. In retrospect, given my current discomfort, seeking immediate medical attention at a hospital for a comprehensive examination would have been prudent, despite my initial reluctance to have my vehicle impounded.
